(Undated) -- Tim Tebow is calling it a career on the diamond. The former Heisman Trophy winner and Denver Broncos quarterback announced his retirement from the New York Mets organization. Tebow joined the Mets in 2016 and reached as high as Triple-A during his time with the club. In 2019, Tebow hit .163 with four home runs. The 33-year-old had been invited to spring training by the Mets in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
