Toyota is urging owners of 50,000 older model vehicles to keep them parked immediately and get their air bags fixed.
This recall affects:
- 2003-2004 Corolla
- 2003-2004 Corolla Matrix
- 2004-2005 RAV4
The model's older airbags could have a part that could explode and shoot out metal fragments, causing injury or death.
"Owners SHOULD NOT DRIVE these vehicles until the FREE safety recall repair has been conducted," Toyota stated.
