Jessica Simpson Pokes Fun at Chicken of the Sea Mishap in New Ad

We'll never forget Jessica Simpson's innocent question.

“Is this chicken that I have, or is this fish?” she questioned while eating a bowl of Chicken of the Sea on the 2003 premiere of her reality series, which chronicled her life with her now-ex Nick Lachey.

Decades later, Jessica is starring in a new commercial for the company. The ad is part of their "It's the One For Me" campaign.

Her daughter Maxwell "Maxi" Drew, 11, joins her famous mom. In the opening scene, Jessica Simpson is seen sitting on a couch with her oldest child.

"Mom, what are you eating in the packet," Maxwell asks.

"It's called Chicken of the Sea, but it's not really chicken — it's tuna," she responds. "So don't get confused by it."

As Maxwell questions, "Who would get confused by that?" Simpson slyly replies, "No one. Not your Mom," before letting out an awkward laugh.

Along with the new ad, Chicken of the Sea is hosting a “It’s the One For Me” sweepstakes, which will give consumers the chance to win $10,000.
