The Hangzhou Zoo in China insists that despite what a viral video making the rounds claims, it's bears are very real.
The video shows one bear on its back legs near it's enclosure walls and some people are convinced it's a human in a costume.
The zoo, through a "spokesbear" wrote "When it comes to bears, the first thing that comes to mind is a huge figure and amazing power … But not all bears are behemoths and danger personified. We Malayan bears are petite, the smallest bear in the world.”
Malayan bears are about the size of large dogs.
Others point out that there's no way someone could last all day in a thick bear costume in Hangzhou's weather, which sits at more than 100 degrees this time of year.
