The USPS is about the raise their price on stamps again.
The new rate to send first-class mail is expected to go up 3 cents, from 63 cents to 66, on July 9, to offset the rise in inflation.
And if it seems like stamp prices just went up, they did: In January, the rate went up about 5%, from 60 cents to 63.
The USPS made this price announcement back in April but with July 9th around the corner this is your reminder to stock up on your Forever stamps!
The first Forever stamps depicted the Liberty Bell and went on sale in 2007. They were designed to address frequent price hikes and can be used to mail a 1-ounce letter regardless of when the stamps are purchased or used and no matter how prices may change in the future.
