Out in Michigan, a pregnant DoorDash driver got in an accident and was unable to deliver her order, but police officers came to the rescue and delivered her food. The hard-working mom was delivering orders last week during the ice storm when her car was hit. The serious accident left her car severely damaged and inoperable. DoorDash driver, Brynna Fantozzi, is six months pregnant and had her 3-year-old daughter in the back seat. They were scared but okay. "My belly hit the steering wheel, my head hit something, and my glasses flew off," Brynna said. With an un-drivable vehicle, Brynna was still concerned about making her DoorDash delivery, so she asked Lieutenant David Allen for some much-needed help. Lt. Allen and Ofc. Smith assisted in emptying her vehicle, which was full of groceries and hot food from a local steak house, and drove to the residence and delivered the DoorDash order. The resident was very appreciative. This mom was also in a tough spot and had to order the DoorDash due to having four sick kids at home. Police bodycam of the special food delivery showed the order reached its destination. All jokes aside, the lieutenant says – these stories don’t always make the headlines, but they happen all the time. "I think that happens more often in our job day-to-day than the bad stuff," Allen said. Here's the video:
