9 a.m. - Surry County sees 5th death of the pandemic.
Surry County Health And Nutrition Center reports their fifth coronavirus-related death. The person died on July 17. Surry County Health Director, Samantha Ange said "Public Health is once again heavy-hearted as we extend our condolences to the family and friends during this difficult time."
