GREENSBORO, N.C. — As the WFMY Weather team is tracking the threat of some strong to severe storms through this evening, a Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for the southern portions of the Piedmont until 11 PM. This doesn't mean storms are happening at the moment but that the ingredients are there for them to form.
