The storm system will move through tonight through Thursday morning. With this storm threat mostly in the overnight hours, you should have a severe weather plan for you and your family in place before you go to bed tonight.
This storm system is moving across all of the Southeast. For the Carolinas, it will be a nighttime arrival. We're talking about a line of storms, one that will bring heavy rain, thunder, and high winds to all of us. The main risk will be for flooding and damaging wind gusts. This is a low tornado threat, lower than in recent weeks.
