Mendenhall Homeplace of Historic Jamestown Society, a 501(c)3 tax exempt nonprofit, is holding it's annual fair this July.
Please join us for the 17th Annual Village Fair at Mendenhall Homeplace, 603 West Main St., Jamestown, NC, on Saturday, July 20, 10am-4pm. Admission is FREE!!!
The Village Fair will feature a number of exhibitors and vendors who will share their talents in various heritage-based trades, crafts, and artistic endeavors such as: 18th century chair making, wood turning, wool spinning, and smithing. Antique engines will bring old farm implements to life, and local musicians will give live performances throughout the day. Costumed interpreters from the High Point Museum will be on hand to lead FREE children's activities. Take-away children's craft activities and tours of Mendenhall Homeplace, and the Mendenhall Store (at City Lake Park), will also be offered. Delicious, modestly-priced food and drinks will be available for purchase. Don't miss out on this fun and enriching community event! Proceeds will support Historic Jamestown Society and its primary holding, Mendenhall Homeplace.
