Memorial Day weekend may be over, but rip currents still pose a threat to beachgoers at the North Carolina coast.
A Twitter account associated with Cape Hatteras National Seashore tweeted that Tuesday carries a high risk of rip currents along all Outer Banks beaches. Red flag warnings were posted along several NC beaches on Monday as well.
