FRANKLINVILLE, N.C. — An 8-year-old girl died Monday morning in an accident while at her bus stop in Randolph County.
Ayanna Ja'Nae Jiminez Crump was waiting for the bus with her sibling just before 7 a.m. on the 2400 block of Whites Memorial Road. For an unknown reason, Jiminez Crump darted into the path of a 2014 Jeep Wrangler, according to North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
