STOKES COUNTY, N.C. — Stokes County Schools are sheltering in place Monday morning after a threat was made on social media.

The Stokes County Sheriff's Office says a threat was made against West Stokes High School around 8:15 a.m. The decision to shelter in place is a precautionary measure while detectives are investigating.
