GREENSBORO, N.C. (WFMY) -- A school resource officer arrested an armed person at Smith High School Monday afternoon according to Greensboro police.
Around 12:40 p.m., the officer confronted someone at the school, causing them to run away. The officer noticed he was armed and chased him, eventually apprehending the person with assisting officers. In a release sent around 1:30 p.m., police said there was no threat to students.
