Ingredients
- 1-2 lbs Ground beef
- 1 medium onion coarsely chopped
- 4 cups of water (or beef broth)
- 28 oz (3 cups) can of tomatoes (can use fresh tomatoes)
- 3 beef bullion cubes
- celery salt
- thyme
- parsley
- basil
- 10 whole peppercorns
- salt with accents
- bay leaf (broken up)
- about 4 carrots (chopped)
Directions
Brown ground beef and drain fat. Then add the onions to the pan until slightly browned.
Combine water, tomatoes, bullion cubes, dry seasonings and ground beef/onions into a large pot over medium heat. Let simmer for at least two hours.
