IFB Solutions started out in 1936 as Winston-Salem Industries for the Blind, a two-room shop with six blind workers.
Today, IFB Solutions as a whole employs nearly 1,000 people. Employees manage field operations for more than 30 optical dispensaries in VA hospitals and 18 Base Supply Centers on military bases and in federal office buildings. IFB Solutions’ 120,000-square-foot, ISO 9001:2015-certified facility in Winston-Salem offers nationally recognized high-tech optical services.
