Goodwill Employee Finds $42,000 Hidden In Donated Sweaters

Here's today's feel-good story:

Andrea Lessing, a Goodwill employee in Oklahoma, recently found a ton of cash that was hidden in some sweaters that were donated to her store.

She was routinely going through the donated items and inspecting them before putting them up for sale in the store when she found stacks of envelopes filled with $100 bills, totalling $42,000.

"Normally we have no way of knowing who the money belongs to," Frank Holland, vice president of donated goods said. "Even if we wanted to try to give it back to someone, there was no way to find who that person was."
