After spending the last 3 years living with John Weston in San Francisco, Pawpaw, a 16-year-old terrier mix, needed to find a new home. Weston had been bound to a wheelchair after suffering ALS. Pawpaw would often put his paws on the chair so that Weston was able to pet him.
Muttville Senior Dog Rescue was ready to help Weston and Pawpaw.
“I really wanted John to be taken care of and his feelings to really be taken into consideration,” Sherri Franklin, CEO of Muttville Senior Dog Rescue said. “It was just this overwhelming sense of duty to do this for him.”
