KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — Retail giant Amazon announced its new fulfillment center is set to open this summer on Friday afternoon.
Amazon said the Kernersville site was originally expected to open by the end of this year but a company spokesperson said it will now open late summer.
The spokesperson said the decision to open is in advance of the 2020 holiday shopping season. Anyone interested in working at the fulfillment center can learn more on the company's website.
