Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Hilton Head beaches all to remain closed

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Most of the South Carolina's major public beaches will stay closed to the broader public for now, despite being told by the governor they could reopen if they want.

South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster issued an executive order Monday allowing all beaches to reopen at 12 p.m. on Tuesday. The order keeps in place social distancing guidelines and allows police to disperse groups of three or more people.
