2020 Guilford County Relay for Life
As we all know, many plans and events for 2020 have been suspended or altered in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is no different for the 2020
Relay For Life of Guilford County event originally rescheduled for the Fall of this year. As a health based organization, the American Cancer Society is held to a higher standard when it comes to minimizing risks and keeping our supporters safe.
In lieu of the 2020 Relay for Life of Guilford County they will be hosting a community socially distanced drive-thru luminaria event this Fall. We invite you to join your community as we show our support to everyone who has faced a cancer diagnosis. On September 25th, we will light luminaria at Life Community Church in Jamestown at 7:30 PM to remember and to honor the people in our lives who have faced cancer.
This event will serve as a fundraiser for Relay For Life of Guilford County. Luminaria bags are available for purchase for $5 and you may dedicate a bag for a loved one by visiting www.relayforlife.org/guilfordnc. The funds raised enable the American Cancer Society to help people facing the disease today, educate people about how to reduce their risk and fund cancer research that will help protect future generations
