Footage captured by a Greenville County deputy's bodycam shows the moment he shot and injured a Simpsonville homeowner on June 14, and the events that lead up to and following the shooting.
The events in the video differ from the original account of the shooting that was reported by the Sheriff's Office. In the video, the deputy shoots the man through the window of the house. Initially, the agency said the man was shot after he opened the door and pointed his gun at the deputy.
