Two Groups Exchange Gunfire In Grocery Store Parking Lot in Asheboro

ASHEBORO, N.C. — Multiple shots were fired in the parking lot of a grocery store in Asheboro Thursday. Asheboro police started their investigation after responding to calls about gunfire. The incident happened around 5:59 p.m. on N. Fayetteville street, police confirmed. 

Police say multiple shots were fired between two or more people in the parking lot. A juvenile was taken into custody during the investigation and officers say they confiscated a gun.
