GREENSBORO, N.C. — It's been dry, but we'll have to be looking out for storms again on Friday. Rain would be beneficial, but a few storms could turn strong to severe as they form during the afternoon and evening hours. Here's what the WFMY News 2 Weather Team is tracking.
A cold front will be moving toward the Piedmont on Friday. Most of the morning hours and first half of the day should be dry, aside from a possible stray shower. The front gets closer during the afternoon, and that's when it could spark a few showers and thunderstorms.
