High Point man charged with 2nd-degree murder in 3-vehicle crash

HIGH POINT — A 19-year-old man was charged with second-degree murder in a three-vehicle wreck Tuesday morning that killed a man and injured several people, High Point police said in a news release.

Emmanuel W. Simeon of High Point is charged in the crash that killed 42-year-old David T. Hill of Winston-Salem, according to the release.

At 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, a High Point Police officer southbound on Brentwood Street observed a blue SUV driven by Simeon traveling northbound at approximately 55 mph in a 35 mph zone near East Springfield Road, police said.
