GREENSBORO, N.C. (WFMY) -- An armed man arrested by a school resource officer at Smith High Monday was carrying two guns, several magazines, and a backpack of bullets according to Greensboro Police Chief, Wayne Scott.
Around 12:40 p.m., the officer confronted the man at the school, causing him to run away. The officer noticed he was armed and chased him, eventually apprehending the person with assisting officers. In a release sent around 1:30 p.m., police said there was no threat to students.
