Myrtle Beach Declares 'State Of Emergency' Ahead Of Hurricane Florence

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WFMY) -- According to a press release from the City of Myrtle Beach, Mayor Brenda Bethune signed a 'State of Emergency' declaration Sunday afternoon ahead of Hurricane Florence.

Bethune is urging residents to prepare for the storm. She also stated residents need to be ready to evacuate should the order be given.
