Triad Dog Games 2018

COMPETE OR SPECTATE!

Fifth Annual Triad Dog Games on May 12 - Only Event of Its Kind in NC

Charity event for The Sergei Foundation to raise money for sick and injured pets

The Sergei Foundation's fifth annual Triad Dog Games is truly a one-of-a-kind event in North Carolina. It is the only dog expo that features four of the most prominent professional dog sport competitions at one time, in one location, with World Champion competitors. New this year is a 5k timed run/walk, Triad Dog Games is just Saturday this year instead of two days (as it falls on Mother’s Day weekend), and The Sergei Foundation and Second Harvest Food Bank NWNC are partnering as well! Bring peanut butter, juice boxes, and unsweetened apple juice to help kids this summer with food needs. Kids and pets go hand-in-hand, and The Sergei Foundation wanted to show partnering with other non-profits can be beneficial and not always competitive.

Hours: Public event hours are May 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds and the 5K starts at 8:30am with registration at 7:30am; enter Gate 5 off Deacon Boulevard for both.

Costs: Triad Dog Games’ admission is $6 and free for kids 10 and under. Parking is free. Your family dog can come for free, too! The 5K race has a separate fee of $30. Registration and event info can be found at TriadDogGames.com. These events are run by The Sergei foundation to help save companion pets’ lives by providing veterinary financial assistance to families unable to afford emergency, life-saving care.

Events/Register: Dogs may be entered in dock jumping, disc sports, agility, flyball and dachshund races, and even run/walk with their owners in our new 5K course. There are events for beginners as well as pros. Don’t have a competitive pooch? Friendly, leashed and vaccinated dogs are welcome to come with you watch, visit vendors, and grab a bite to eat. For a complete list of Triad Dog Games activities and to register for event games visit www.TriadDogGames.com. Stay up to date on event details by liking Triad Dog Games on Facebook.

Triad Dog Games in review!

All to raise funds for sick and injured pets...

Triad Dog Games ™  is run and organized by  The Sergei Foundation to raise program funds to assist in its mission to "save companion pets' lives by providing veterinary financial assistance to families unable to afford emergency, life-saving care. "

Our fifth annual event will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds and will showcase dogs running, jumping, diving, and retrieving in a variety of competitions. You may enter your dogs to compete or just come to spectate, spend the day at the park, eat and have some family fun (and don't forget to bring your canine family... leashed, friendly, and rabies vaccinated dogs welcome!).

Featured will be the Triad's only dock jumping competition run by Ultimate Air Dogs!  Dock jumping, also called dock diving, is a fast growing and very popular sport in the United States and Canada which has been featured on ESPN, The Outdoor Channel and The Animal Planet.  This is a show that is not just for competitors, but it is a crowd favorite for spectators.

See our events page for competitions planned such as agility, disc dogs, dachshund races and more; activities are planned for both the athletic and no-so-athletic pups a-like.
