Greensboro Dad Mourns 16-Year-Old Daughter Who Died After Being Shot

Police and loved ones are still looking for answers after 16-year-old Sateria Fleming, or Zoe, as her friends call her, was shot Monday night in Greensboro.

"It's just senseless," says Forrest Fleming, Zoe's father. "Senseless to take a 16-year-old's life."

Police say Zoe was walking along the 4400 block of Baker Avenue when she was shot around 9 p.m. She was taken to Moses Cone Hospital where she was in critical condition. Tuesday night, her father says she was declared brain dead. She was on life support until she passed away. Click here for more details from News 2
