Hyundai Recalls Over 90,000 Genesis Vehicles

  • The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration revealed that Hyundai is recalling just over 90,000 of its Genesis vehicles. 
  • The recall has to do with water potentially causing an electrical short which could cause an engine fire while driving or parked. 
  • The Genesis models being recalled include:
  • Genesis G70, 2019.
  • Genesis G80, 2017-2019.
  • Genesis G90, 2017-2019.
  • Hyundai Genesis, 2015-2016.  
  • Owners should get a recall notification for a free repair by April 13th.
  • Until then, the NHTSA said owners should park their cars "outside and away from structures."
