Budapest has played host to the 2023 World Athletics Championship, and there's been lots of memorable moments, like the return of Sha’Carri Richardson.
However, there's one athlete who has been getting everyone excited.
Yulina Levchenko, the 25-year-old Ukrainian high jumper, went viral for her blonde hair and passing resemblance to Barbie star Margot Robbie.
The World Athletic’s social media put her high jump video on TikTok; the rest is history.
“High jump Barbie, Ukraine’s Yuliya Levchenko,” the account captioned a video of one of her jumps during qualification. The clip was set to a sped-up version of Dua Lipa’s “Dance The Night” from the Barbie soundtrack to add to it.
Unfortunately, her newfound fame didn't help her qualify. Levchenko finished 17th, losing out on qualification for the 12-women final on a tiebreaker. Her Ukranian compatriot, Yaroslava Mahuchikh, would win gold on August 27.
